SECURITY DEPOSIT POLICY
To help protect our properties, furnishings, and equipment, Acaso Homes requires a security deposit authorization during each guest's stay.
The security deposit is not an additional accommodation charge and will only be used if any of the following situations occur:
Damage to the property, furniture, décor, appliances, fixtures, or any other items belonging to Acaso Homes.
Loss of keys, remote controls, access cards, or any other items provided during the stay.
Extraordinary cleaning required due to improper use of the accommodation (for example, permanent stains, excessive dirt, waste left outside designated disposal areas, or conditions requiring additional cleaning services).
Violation of the property's rules that results in additional costs.
The guest will only be responsible for covering the actual costs of verified damages or expenses resulting from their stay. If no damages or outstanding charges are identified, the security deposit authorization will be released or refunded according to the procedures and timelines established by the booking platform or the payment method used.
By confirming the reservation, the guest acknowledges and accepts this Security Deposit Policy and agrees to return the property in the same condition in which it was received, while respecting the facilities, furnishings, and house rules
CANCELLATION POLICY
At Acaso Homes, we understand that travel plans may change. To ensure fairness for both our guests and our business, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Cancellations made 5 or more days before the scheduled check-in date:
No cancellation fee will be charged, and the guest will receive the applicable refund in accordance with the terms and conditions of the booking platform.
Cancellations made within 5 days of the scheduled check-in date:
A cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total reservation amount will be charged.
No-shows or cancellations made on or after the check-in date:
No refund will be issued, and the applicable charges may be collected in accordance with the reservation terms.
This policy allows us to manage the availability of our properties efficiently and continue providing the best possible service to all our guests. We encourage guests to make any changes or cancellations as early as possible.
By confirming the reservation, the guest acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this cancellation policy.
